Summary: The Bardiche [B], nicknamed “Angriff”, is a drastically improved variant introduced before the start of the Third World War by the U.N. Army. While the basic frame remains largely the same, by including the powerful Lockredd-Markein boost thrusters in its original construction alongside improved joint durability and shock absorbers, the unit becomes stronger, though it loses much of its equipment adaptability. Originally designed to work with other units as escorts or support, the Bardiche [B]’s vast increase in direct combat potential saw it propelled to the top for its time, creating a role of “interceptor” AMs designed to quickly smash enemy lines; more resembling the Zweihänder, as opposed to the multi-role and advance-with-the-line strategies supported by the Bardiche [A]. The Bardiche [B] is also supplied to area-defense forces as of recently and also with the near-complete replacement of the Bardiche Recke as the mainline force of the Federation. Unscrupulous companies and sympathizers have also begun selling upgrade parts and whole Bardiche [B] units to insurgents as well.
